How to: make the most of your event team

1. Make our team a part of yours.

From the moment they step on site, make an effort to make the team feel welcome. Introduce them to your team or other event crew on site, and integrate them as part of the team.

2. Provide a briefing.

Make it a first priority to set out the expectations and timeline of the day. Each event is so unique, that your team will always benefit from a quick overview of the day. This is also a good opportunity to allocate job roles and lay-out tasks to be completed.

3. Be clear about what you need

Our crew are extremely versatile in their skill sets. If we know what you need, or you require something a little more specific i.e. barista work or cocktail service, we can pin-point and prioritise team members with those specific skills and training.

4. Planning

For every event, we provide our team members with a detailed briefing document prior to their shift. This document contains all of the information that you have been able to provide to us about your event. It is a great way for our crew to familiarise themselves with the event details before their arrival on site- the more information you are able to provide, the more the more prepared they will be.

5. Book in advance

We understand that this isn’t always an option. Maybe one of your own core team have fallen ill or is unable to work at short notice and we are always here to help fill those gaps with emergency support.

However, if you are in the position to be able to plan ahead and book your teams and requirements in advance, it puts us in the position where we are able to book YOUR teams in advance. This generally means that we will be able to select a more consistent team with the most relevant skills set to your event.
